Quite possibly the most romantic restaurant in Seminyak. Luckily for me, I went armed with my four-man date again.
I support my hypothesis with the fact that the place was filled (at least downstairs) with couples enjoying a little bit of ritz’n’glitz.
When you arrive, you enter the restaurant on stepping stones flanked by pools filled with koi carp – the big fancy expensive fish.
You are then escorted to your table. I opted for the chair closest to the water, I didn’t trust the boys to behave themselves – I knew they wouldn’t throw me in.
We dined on traditional Indonesian dishes. I opted for a fish soup which was rather like a spicy bouillabaisse – I hope that is not offending the chef. One warning I received before we visited Bali was their medium heat is our spicy. I found this to be true.
Sorry for the blurry photos – we enjoyed several of their delicious cocktails with our meal before a little photo shoot on our exit – we were the last table left – all those couples running off to continue their romantic evening I suppose.
Whereas we headed off to the local bars – class.
